Person-Centered Practices During Implementation Phases

EasterSeals Southern California started to use Therap right at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and before switching to Therap we were using 'paper and pencil' methods of data collection, reporting, and tracking. While implementing Therap, we leveraged Person-Centered Practices to gather input from the people in our services as well as the associates employed at our organization. Using that input to lead our implementation, people 'bought in' to the new service, adopted it quickly, and found that it enhanced their lives by switching to Therap.

During this presentation, we will be talking about how we used Person-Centered Practices with our advocacy groups, and how we collected input from the associates employed at EasterSeals Southern California so that you can learn about what was successful for us so your implementation can be successful too!
