About me
Rachel has been a part of the mission of LSS since 2022, joining the Training Team in January of 2024. She began her journey of service to others through volunteer work as a youth. One of her first work experiences was in a care setting supporting enrichment and activities at a nursing home. Her background spans nearly fifteen years and includes directing, program development and support of senior living/assisted living communities which included life enrichment, senior meals programming, skilled nursing restorative activity, supportive service, and spiritual care/end of life services. Rachel earned her Associate of Arts Degree and has helped others through continued work experience, mentorships and certification. Rachel received her American Red Cross Instructor Certification in 2024 and supports LSS Team Members with CPR/First Aide/AED training. Rachel is also a youth dance teacher and acrylic painter.
